Hours of work: 37 Hours per Week, 52 Weeks (Monday – Thursday 1.30pm to 9.30pm, Friday 2pm to 9.30pm, Saturdays when required)

Contract type: Permanent

What this role involves

Vale of York Academy are looking to appoint a Site / Facilities Manager who will be responsible for the security, safety, cleanliness and upkeep of all school buildings, grounds and facilities under the direction of the Business Manager/Headteacher to ensure a secure, safe and hygienic environment for all building users. The post holder will also be required to organise and direct all premises staff, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and safety within the school. The post is subject to some disagreeable working conditions as the post is required outside in bad weather, work with tools, cleaning equipment and products which contain chemicals, but the necessary protective clothing will be provided.
