INSIGHT 08
Online Learning. Google classroom – bring and share.

Online Learning. Google classroom – bring and share. What do we know and what do we need to know?

Led by: Vale of York Science Department

Date: Friday 26 June (This event has now passed. If you weren’t able to join this session, you can access the resources here – please note this is for Hope colleagues only. Anyone wishing to arrange a follow-up session with a colleague from Vale of York Academy, please contact them directly: s.vine@voy.hlt.academyd.pickering@voy.hlt.academy or c.belyeu@voy.hlt.academy

Time: 11.00-11:45am

Venue: Zoom

The team will share:

  • How they set up Google classroom initially
  • What they have learnt so far from this
  • How they are moving forward with teaching and learning online

TO MAKE THE MOST OF THIS SESSION PLEASE SHARE (very briefly) YOUR ANSWERS TO THE QUESTIONS IN THIS GOOGLE SURVEY. This will enable us to tailor the session to best meet needs of colleagues.

Three short questions:

  1. What is the most important thing you have learned so far when providing on line provision?
  2. WWW with Google classroom?
  3. What you are most interested in knowing re online learning. This can be very broad, not just about Google classroom.

Please respond to this by Tuesday 23rd June 5pm.

Please note you do not need to complete the survey to attend on Friday (it just gives us a helpful starter with our planning).

How to access the webinar:
If you would like to join this session, please contact Sarah Clarke by email s.clarke@hlt.academy.
Sarah will then send you the link and password for access to our ZoomRoom.

Hope Learning Trust webinars are an informal opportunity to:

  • Share good practice
  • Hear about what works elsewhere (and what doesn’t!)
  • Connect with colleagues and support one another to improve T&L in our schools
  • Share ideas for how we can best catch our students up (post-coronavirus strategies!)
  • Discuss and make sense of educational research
  • Hear about other people’s career journeys

We always looking for colleagues to lead future sessions and share best practice. If you’d like to find out more, please contact Sarah via s.clarke@hlt.academy
