York-based multi-academy trust, the Hope Learning Trust, has appointed three new senior members of staff to its central team as part of their mission to secure the highest possible standards of education for its young people.
Jim Kelly joins the Trust as Director of Learning: Maths, Chloe Dolphin as Director of Learning: English and Shan Brough Jones as Primary School Improvement Lead.
The trio, who take up their positions on 1 September, will work closely with Brian Crosby, the Trust’s CEO and Katherine Humpleby, who joined the Trust as Secondary School Improvement Lead earlier this year. They will also work in close conjunction with Hope’s headteachers, staff, governors, trustees and other members of the central team. Their mutual aim is to continue to raise standards across the Trust. Together, they will support Hope’s staff and young people to exceed their potential, through access to the very best opportunities to flourish, in both their academic and personal lives. The team will also work closely with EborHope Teaching Schools Alliance facilitating the sharing of best practice in teaching and learning across the Trust and continuing to raise standards and create opportunities for high-quality professional development for staff.
Jim Kelly joins Hope from Manor Church of England Academy where he was Assistant Principal. Chloe Dolphin is a former senior leader, English consultant and examiner who has worked closely with schools across the wider region, to improve outcomes for students.
Shan Brough Jones will work part-time for Hope, supporting the primary schools in the Trust. She will continue her independent consultancy, alongside her work as a Diocesan Adviser. She brings a wealth of experience and understanding of the primary and early years phase to the work of the Trust.
Hope’s CEO Brain Crosby said “At Hope, we’re really keen to drive forward high-quality teaching and learning across the Trust, bringing people together to work collaboratively and share innovative best practice across our family of schools. We’re thrilled to have Jim, Chloe and Shan on board within the Hope team. They all have vast and invaluable experience to share and are all committed to providing the very best opportunities for the young people within our Trust.”
